Plum Tree Cottage is a detached two storey period cottage situated in the small market town of Lechlade on Thames in the Cotswolds.

I have made this statement as comprehensive as possible, but if you have any specific needs that are not addressed in this statement, then please do not hesitate to give me a call.

  • The nearest railway station is Swindon, approximately 20 km distant
  • The nearest supermarket is about 300 m from the cottage
  • The nearest chemist is about 300 m from the cottage

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

  • Cars should be parked on Sherborne St, where there is ample street parking
  • The cottage is accessed via public footpath off Sherborne St and the entrance to the cottage is located approximately 40 m from Sherborne St.
  • Access to the footpath is restricted by two cycle barriers. There is a gap of approximately 1 m between the two barriers and between each barrier and the edge of the footpath
  • The footpath has a smooth tarmac surface and has a slight incline
  • The cottage is accessed through a garden gate, of width 86cm
  • There is a short crazy paved path from the garden gate to the front door
  • The front door is 83cm wide

  • Laundry facilities are provided in the Garden room, which is a single story room located in the garden
  • Entrance to the garden room is via french doors which are 1.5m wide
  • A washing machine and a condenser tumble dryer is provided
  • There is also a drying rack and a washing line
  • Iron and ironing board are provided

Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas

  • Both bedrooms are on the 1st floor
  • Access to the bedrooms is via a narrow staircase, which is 55-59 cm wide
  • The staircase steps are 18 cm high
  • There is a 90 degree turn at the foot of the staircase. The turn comprises 6 steps
  • The staircase banisters provide a handrail on the right hand side of the staircase
  • Each bedroom has a door width of 70 cm
  • The main bedroom has a Double bed (4ft 6 ins)
